Dance in the rain.
If I could offer you only one trip for the future, it would be to dance in the rain. There is no long term health benefit other then the feeling of happiness and being carefree. The rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.
Embrace your beauty. You will most likely not look this good in 10 years. So quit the diets. Stop checking your weight if you feel good, you look good. Put down that diet coke. Eat more than 500 calories a day. Be healthy.
Don't worry about where you will be in 5 years not even one. Live in the moment worrying only leads to stress and breakouts. Believe that things will fall into place. Your future will be even better then you thought.
Compliment someone everyday.
Don't push people into believing what you believe and keep your mind open when people express their beliefs.
Don't waste any time trying to be perfect. You will never achieve this. Just when you think you are almost there you fall again. In the end you are just miserable.
Remember to smile at your haters and not let insults they say effect you. If you accomplish this, let me know how.
Keep the funny texts. Delete the petty fights.
Don't regret your past. They have formed who you are today. Don't feel obligated to know what exactly you want to be in the real world. Explore, that's what college is for.
Tone down on the makeup. Stop styling your hair. You'll be sorry when your they become damaged.
Maybe you'll be a millionaire, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll marry the one, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll meet your great great grandchildren, maybe you'll even get to dance in their wedding.
Whatever you do, don't boast or scold yourself. Things happen to you and to everyone else too.
Enjoy your body. Be bold, take risks. Jump off a roof into a pool. It can only be done when you're young plus it's fun. Confidence is key. So strut your stuff.
When home alone, belt out in song.
Read reviews on items you want to buy, trust me it'll save you money.
Don't idolize models, they are the only ones that look like they do. Remember us Americans are known to be overweight, so you probably look better then the one your next to. Just to to Miami beach. You'll feel better.
Get to know family and their history. You never know when they'll be gone.
Be nice to your siblings. Everything you say to each other is taken to heart when young. This can make and break your relationship so think before you speak.
Understand that friends will come and go, but try to hold on to that one who's known you the longest. Your bond will grow to the point where you'll know what expression they'll make when certain things are said an they'll be able to make decisions for you. Well at least, that's how it should be.
Live in New York city once and leave before you loose your love for it.
Visit all famous amusement parks. That'll be an experience you won't forget.
Accept certain inalienable truths: gas prices will rise, fall, and rise again. Celebrities will grow in places that shouldn't, they will all try to outsmart time but all will get old, including you. Guys will be jerks and technology will advance. You will fantasize about a simpler time when things were classy, life was easier and men were actual gentlemen.
Respect your parents.
Don't expect good things to always happen to you. Life isn't fair. Good people get cancer, some people overcome it, others don't. Good people sometimes go bankrupt, out live a child, etc. bad people get away with criminal acts. Accept the fact that the world is a sinful place and these things will happen. Just believe in something because 100% of us won't come out of this life alive.
Be careful whose advice you buy. You don know their intentions or if they even can take care of themselves. Don't tell everyone your problems, some people actually want to help but others are just nosy. Be patient with those you trust who supply you with it. They only want the best. "Advice is like snow. The softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind."
But seriously, dance in the rain.
